This weekend saw the reverse of my normal mantra – From Armchair to Action, as I decided to have a chill out for a change, and enjoy the benefits of the armchair instead of action.  It was a great pleasure, catching up on news, watching TV, sleeping and generally not engaging brain too much!

Sometimes we can spend so much time rushing around, that we miss the moments of reflection and solitude and particularly at this time of the year, being able to take some time out is really important.

So what are my top 3 tips to move from Action to Armchair?

1.  Think about the benefits of slowing down and relaxing

2.  Make sure it's a comfortable armchair that will entice you to sit in it

3.  Learn how to view life from a different perspective and take time to think
