Recently I have been discussing the process of coaching chemistry sessions with some of my colleagues to find out what they think of the process.  For coaches the view seemed to be that sometimes they provide too much choice for the potential client. As a result, their requirements change as they meet the various coaches, so its always an advantage to be the last one to meet the client!

Some also described how they split the chemistry session into two parts.  The first is the “getting to know you” element and then a day or so later they do the “details about how they coach”.  This was carried out over the telephone which made it easier to manage than a face to face which may take additional time etc.

Some seem to advocate a lot of choice where as others disagree and suggest not to have them at all. What do you think?
